Message from APAC Founder

Dear Participant(s),

Thank you very much for visiting our Conference website. I hope you will decide to join our Conference. Then be assured of great days ahead---amazing, delightful, exciting, fun, interesting, mindful, stimulating and uplifting.

Come to Bangkok, the venue for our Conference. It is in the “land of smiles” and understandably one of the most popular travel destinations in the world. For good reasons—varied and superb cuisine, attractive sights and sounds, wonderful shopping outlets, vibrant life, diverse culture and warm, hospitable and polite people.

Our Conference theme is “Harmony and Mindfulness for Humanity” much needed for a fast-changing but vulnerable world, within a context of volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, as demonstrated by “Brexit” and the US Election results (“Trumpism/ Trumponomics”). Embracing harmony and mindfulness as a way of life is our modest, humble and probably wise way to respond to the current world.

A Conference like this, celebrating APAC’s 10th Anniversary, entails the orchestrated collaboration of many people. I would like to acknowledge the many contributions and wonderful teamwork of Potchanart Seebungkerd (Jimi), Conference Chair and Jean-Francois Cousin, Programs and Speakers Chair, and their resourceful and hard -working team members.

Do come to Bangkok. Connect and network, engage and enjoy, and sing and dance. Have a great time at the Conference and in Thailand.

Welcome to APAC2017

Dear APAC2017 Participants

2017 marks the 10th anniversary of the official registration of the Asia Pacific Alliance of Coaches as an organization. APAC2017 also marks the largest Coaching Conference ever held in Thailand at a time where Executive Coaching has taken off in a big way in the Kingdom. APAC is itself a regional organization that conducts its activities mostly online as its members come from most countries in Asia Pacific, but every two years or so we make it a point to hold a Regional Conference in an Asia Pacific city to allow members to renew their relationships face to face, learn from one another, and strengthen the bonds of being part of the APAC family.

The theme of this conference “Harmony and Mindfulness for Humanity” is a fitting topic in a rapidly changing world and brings into focus the important role coaching can play to make the world a better place.

I hope that you will enjoy your personal interactions with coaching colleagues during the main conference, and with both coaches and corporate executives from corporations based in Thailand during the pre-conference.

I also hope that you will find your stay in Thailand an enjoyable one.
